Terms of Service
Last updated: October 7, 2026
These terms apply to your use of FeedKit: Baby Feeding Log (“FeedKit”, “the app”) for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. “We” and “us” mean the developer of FeedKit. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The app
FeedKit helps parents and caregivers log and review a baby’s feeds, weight and related information, and shows general feeding tips. The core features are free. Optional features are available with a FeedKit Premium subscription, as described in the app and on feedkit.net. We may add, change or remove features over time.
2. Not medical advice
FeedKit is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Feeding tips are general information and may not suit your baby. Statistics, predicted feeding times and reminders, including smart reminders, are estimates based on what you have logged and may be wrong or late. The AI Feeding Analysis prompt is text for you to use with a third-party AI service of your choice; we do not produce, check or take responsibility for what that service answers.
Always follow the advice of your pediatrician, midwife or other qualified health professional, and never delay seeking care because of something in the app. If you think your baby may be unwell, contact a health professional. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
3. FeedKit Premium subscriptions
FeedKit Premium is an auto-renewing subscription, offered with a monthly, six-month or yearly billing period. Each period comes as an Individual plan, for one Apple Account, or a Family plan, which you can share with up to five other members of your Apple Family Sharing group. Both plans unlock the same Premium features. The price and period of each option are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the then-current price.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings (on iPhone: Settings, your name, Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; Premium stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- New subscribers can start with a free trial: 1 week on the monthly plans and 2 weeks on the six-month and yearly plans. The app shows the trial only when your Apple Account is eligible for it under Apple’s rules, which generally allow one trial per subscription group. The trial becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end. The app reminds you 2 days before the trial ends with a local notification, if notifications are allowed. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Purchases, billing and refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s terms. We cannot issue refunds ourselves; you can request one from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- You can restore an active subscription on another device signed in to the same Apple Account with Restore Purchases in the app.
Some Premium features have extra requirements: Family Sharing requires an iCloud account for everyone in the family, and active Premium for the person who creates the family, either through their own subscription or through a Family plan shared with them by Apple Family Sharing. The people they invite can join without Premium. If the creator’s Premium ends, their iPhone stops syncing with the family until it is renewed. When Premium ends, Premium themes return to the System theme and smart reminders return to a fixed interval. The Apple Watch app requires a compatible Apple Watch paired with your iPhone.
4. Your data and Family Sharing
Information you enter is stored on your device, and in iCloud if you use Family Sharing, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not keep a copy, so we cannot recover data that is deleted or lost with a device. You are responsible for keeping backups if you want them.
If you create or join a family, the people in it can see, add, change and delete the shared feeds. The family creator can remove a member and can delete the family for everyone. Anyone who has the family’s invite link can join it, including someone who was removed, for as long as the family exists, so only share the link with people you trust. Joining another family stops sharing with the current one; the app asks first.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to interfere with its operation or with iCloud services, reverse engineering it except where the law allows, or using it to store or share content that you have no right to share.
6. License and ownership
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FeedKit on Apple devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store’s Usage Rules. The app, its design, text, tips and artwork are ours or our licensors’ and are protected by intellectual property laws. The information you enter remains yours.
These terms supplement Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If they conflict, these terms apply to the extent permitted.
7. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection claims, or intellectual property claims. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price, if any; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
8. Third-party services
FeedKit relies on services provided by Apple, such as the App Store, iCloud, CloudKit, notifications, widgets and Live Activities, Siri and Shortcuts, and Apple Watch connectivity. Their availability and your use of them are governed by Apple’s own terms. Any AI assistant or other app you share information with is governed by its provider’s terms.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep FeedKit reliable, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free, or compatible with every device or iOS version. We may update the app, and some updates may be required to keep using it.
10. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for FeedKit Premium in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
12. Ending these terms
You can stop using FeedKit at any time by deleting it, and cancel Premium as described in section 3. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously breach these terms. Sections 2, 4, 6, 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after these terms end.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the country where the developer of FeedKit is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live. Before bringing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date, and for significant changes we will tell you in the app. If you keep using FeedKit after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
